I am taking 6 of us and staying at the new art of animation from 4-6 to 4-10. I did not get hopper pass. Trying to keep expenses down. I think I want to do Epcot sat, MK sun, Hollywood mon, MK tues and end with animal land. Is that going to work?

    Hi Mimi!

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation!Your family is going to love Disney's Art of Animation, you may have a hard time leaving the resort to go have fun in the parks! Although the Park Hopper option can come in handy, but it takes time to travel between all those parks especially if you have small children.

I was looking at the dates your travel dates,4/6-4/10, but you mentioned wanting to visit Epcot on Saturday which would be 4/5.I was wondering if may you have possibly meant 4/4-410,as that would fit with the days you are wishing to visit each park.Based on the days you mentioned for parks, here is what I suggest:

    Sat 4/5 Epcot 9am-9pm
    Sun 4/6 Hollywood Studios 9am-8pm
    Mon 4/7 Magic Kingdom 9am-10pm
    Tues 4/8 Animal Kingdom 9am-7pm
    Wed 4/9 Magic Kingdom 9am-10pm

    or for your other dates

    Sun 4/6 Epcot 9am-9pm
    Mon 4/7 Magic Kingdom 9am-10pm
    Tues 4/8 Animal Kingdom 9am-7pm
    Wed 4/9 Hollywood Studios 9am-8pm
    Thur 4/10 Magic Kingdom 9am-10pm

I find Magic Kingdom to be a lot less busy than visiting on a weekend.Guests will visit this park at the start of their vacation which is usually on a weekend,so it is normally a little more busy on those days.

Make sure to schedule in a little break during your vacation, whether it is pool time or just a little trip on the monorail.A short break can do wonders for everyone in your group as there is a lot of walking when visiting Walt Disney World.I would also suggest arriving at each park's opening time as many popular attractions will have long waits if you arrive later in the day.Although,I would possibly take the opportunity to sleep in on your last day since it will be your second day at Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps,Mimi and if you have anymore questions please don't hesitate to ask!

    Happy Planning!
