I will be taking a two year-old and a four-year-old to Disney World . I have food vouchers. How will that work for the two year-old? If he doesn’t have his own food vouchers, who’s gonna pay for his pancake breakfast every morning?

    Hi Ann,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I love helping fellow Guests plan their Disney vacations, and Disney Dining is one of my favourite subjects to chat about!

As a dad of two little Mouseketeers, I’ve experienced the joy of travelling with little ones under the age of 3, and it really is special seeing the Disney Parks through their eyes. Ann, children under 3 do not qualify for the Disney Dining Plan, but they are welcome to share from an adult’s plate at no additional charge.

And let’s be honest, toddlers can be super hungry one moment and then not fancy anything the next (or is that just my boys?) We’ve found that buffet-style restaurants offer fantastic value and flexibility when dining with little ones, you will not pay for a child under 3. At table-service restaurants, if you decide to order an additional meal just for your child, it will be charged separately.

I hope this answers your question as you plan your trip to Walt Disney World for this September! I hope you have the BEST vacation filled with lots of pancakes! If you have any further vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

    Have a magical day,
    Matt
