Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca!
How magical that you are planning not just one, but two unforgettable visits to the Walt Disney World Resort this year! One of the first things that I do when I begin my planning is to set my budget. I check for any
special offers that I might be able to take advantage of and then I get creative in ways to stretch my Disney dollars to the max, so I can splurge on something special while I’m there.
Considering an
Annual Pass when you have multiple visits within a year is a great idea! Not only might it be a smart budget option, but with
all the additional benefits and discounts - like Disney’s PhotoPass download privileges and the ability to Park Hop! - the value of an AP increases making it a budget friendly choice.
Rebecca, my suggestion is to crunch your numbers and see if an Annual Pass really is the best option. I believe the break-even number to justify an Annual Pass is if you are planning on visiting the theme parks on 10-days. This math is a guesstimation with many variables. So, I still think the best option is to consider your specific plans and see what the best option for your family will be. Don’t forget to add the value of Memory Maker and Park Hopping to make sure you’re getting the best deal!
I hope this helps answer your question! If you have any more questions about Annual Passes or planning your upcoming visits, please do stop by and bring those our way! It’s our pleasure to assist you as you dream up some enchanted vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort.
See ya real soon,
Emille
