We're are taking our two sons, 17 & 14 years old, May 30 - June 2nd for Star Wars weekends. What are the must see's and do's? And are there any type of special event they can do with the characters?Just want them to experience something special. Thank

    Hi Donna!

This is a great question.  Without a doubt, you will want to experience the Hyperspace Hoopla.  It is a fabulous event that takes place at the end of the day during Star Wars Weekends.  It is a dance competition and while that may not sound that exciting, it is absolutely fabulous and hilarious.

You should also plan on arriving at Disney's Hollywood Studios at least 45 minutes before the park is scheduled to open to see the opening number.  It's a special opening just for Star Wars Weekends and again is a lot of fun.  I also suggest watching the parade full of Star Wars characters in the middle of the day.

There will be a lot of special Meet and Greets throughout the park and special merchandise for sale.  Be sure to bring your camera to take pictures of your children with the various Star Wars characters.  You can also get celebrity autographs, but to do that, know that you have to be at the park very early; maybe hours before it is scheduled to open depending the celebrity.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
