Taking two kids, 18 & 23 during 12/29/17 - 01/15/18. Need great suggestions as to what we should do & see. Want to see & do the best of what we can for their age level. One is graduating as a Mechanichal Engineer.

    Hi Terry,

I'm so thankful that my daughters -- now 19 and 24 -- still love a Walt Disney World vacation with their parents as much as they did when they were young. When they are able to accompany us now, we try to make activities that appeal to them our top priority. For my husband and me, just spending time with our mostly-grown children is all the fun we need.

A lot depends on your kids' interests. Our daughters care most about the dining. They love a day spent sampling the world cuisine around the World Showcase at Epcot and always want to weigh in on what advance dining reservations we secure for our trip.

They also love dining at Disney Springs and in the resorts. Morimoto Asia, Frontera Cocina and Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' are their top picks at Disney Springs right now, and they're big fans of all the restaurants at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Have thrill seekers? They won't want to miss Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom. Star Wars fans? Head for Hollywood Studios. Love the classic magic of Disney? Magic Kingdom makes everyone feel like a kid again.

You might also want to consider a special tour together. I love the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom and the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure Segway tour at Fort Wilderness. The Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom is a fascinating look at what happens behind the scenes (and beneath) the park.

I hope that gives you some guidance, Terry. My best advice is to relax and savor this special time, regardless of what activities you plan together. Enjoy!
