HI, I am taking my two grandson on the Disney Cruise Dream, out of Fort Lauderdale. We have a 11:30am flight to catch on Debarkation day. If we use the Disney transportation from the ship to FLL airport will we be able to catch our flight on time?

    Hello Joyce!

As a fellow Nana, I can say that sharing a Disney Cruise vacation with your grandchildren is truly a Dream come true! Watching their faces light up with Disney magic is an experience like no other.

One of the best things about sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale is its super convenient location. It is just a couple of miles from the airport! In fact, the drive is quicker than Lightning McQueen on race day!

For your return flight, Disney recommends booking no earlier than 11:00 AM on disembarkation day, so your 11:30 AM departure should be just fine. To check the exact timing for Disney transportation, I recommend reaching out to a Disney Cruise Line cast member, who can also assist with booking your transfers.

Pro planDisney tip: Your grandsons will probably love spending time in one of the incredible Disney Kids Clubs on board, which means you might get a little free time to yourself. If so, I highly recommend visiting the Rainforest Room at Senses Spa & Salon. The heated loungers are pure bliss and one of my favorite places to unwind!

Wishing you a magical and memory-filled cruise with your grandsons!
