Hi we are taking our two girls 9 and 4 from 11/27-12/3 Will it be extremely busy because of the Thanksgiving holiday? And also, what would be the best moderate resort to stay at? We are down to the Carrbbean bearh, Port orleans riverside & coronado,

    Hi Misty!

Based on past years, the Sunday after Thanksgiving could still be very crowded, but the crowds should not be bad starting on the Monday after Thanksgiving.  So it should not be crowded when you go to Walt Disney World, assuming this year is similar to previous years.

I think the best Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  Not only that, but Port Orleans Riverside was also voted "best Moderate Resort" by an unofficial pool of the Moms Panel.  The resort has a lot to offer.  I especially love the theming and the pool area; it still might be warm enough to swim when you go.  The pools are heated at Walt Disney World, but of course you eventually have to get out of the pool and the cool air can be a problem.

My favorite part of Port Orleans Riverside is the Alligator Bayou section.  The landscaping there is beautiful and I like the rustic nature.  If you stay there, be sure to ride the boat to Downtown Disney one night.  It's very relaxing and beautiful at night!

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
