    We are taking our two daughters ages 8 and 6 to DW Oct 3-11. We've never done anything at Downtown Disney. We already have the BBB at the castle booked. Any suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!!

    Hi, Jason!

    Downtown Disney is so much fun!  Here are some highlights that you and your family might enjoy:

    -Characters In Flight:  A tethered helium balloon that rises almost 400 feet over Village Lake (no worries, it really is not scary!)  The views are amazing.

    -Splitsville is a great bowling alley that will be fun for everyone!

    -AMC Theater shows all the best movies.  Perfect for a rainy day activity or for some down-time from the parks.

    -World of Disney Store.  The biggest Disney Store you will ever visit!  Enough said ;)

    -Try a meal at Wolfgang Puck Express.  One of my very favorite Quick Service Locations.

    -Once Upon a Toy.  Your kids will love everything about this store, especially the build your own Mr. Potato Head station.

    You can easily spend half a day in Downtown Disney, or even more if your schedule allows.  Get there early in the day for smaller crowds, or go in the evening when it is bustling with activity and fun.  Have a great time shopping, dining, and experiencing all there is to do.

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
