We will be taking a trip to WDW in September. My DD is 5 and easily fits the requirements to ride Space Mtn, but I'm a little worried about her sitting in a seat separate from me. She wants to ride it, but I'd like to make sure she's ready. Any thoughts?

    Hi Regina,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I shared your concern when considering Space Mountain with my daughter.  I think I was more nervous about the attraction than she was.  She sat directly in front of me, and I was able to give her a reassuring pat on the shoulder that I was there.  There will be plenty of time for your child to see the coaster ride vehicles before you board, so if she feels comfortable with it, I'd go for it!  If you get there and she isn't ready, no problem a cast member will be more than happy to show you to the exit.

Hope this helps, have a great trip!
