    We are taking our 1st trip to WDW in early Sept. We have 2 questions: 1.) Any special things going on 9/5-9/9 that we should check out? 2.) Using Disney Transportation, how long will it take us to get to the different parks from the All-Star Movie Res

    Hi Joshua,

    You must be so excited about your very first visit to Walt Disney World!

    There is a Special Event taking place at the very end of your visit called Night of Joy which is a contemporary Christian music festival held at the Magic Kingdom on 9 & 10 September 2011. If this is something which is of interest to you, separate admission is required and individual tickets can be purchased from the Walt Disney World website HERE.

    As far as transportation is concerned, it will take approximately 20 - 25 minutes by bus from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to each of the four Theme Parks. However, please bear in mind that you will also need to make an allowance for time which will be spent waiting for the next bus to arrive.

    As a rule of thumb, when using Disney's complimentary transportation, I always leave 1 hour for travelling between Resorts and Theme Parks.
