    We are taking our 1st trip tp WDW this June with 2 boys 5&6yrs. I know that it will be alot of ground to cover; so should we spend the extra monies on the park hopper passes or should we take our time and spend 1day in each park?

    First-time visits to Disney with the kids is great - hope you have a wonderful time.    The answer to your question depends a lot on how many days you plan to stay.  I assume you will be visiting for at least four full days since you imply you have that flexibility.   If so, I would plan to spend at least one full day in each park.    Since your boys will want to experience all the rides and shows, a full day's time will be helpful to cover anything.   You point out an important point that many folks forget - take your time and enjoy.    If you have longer to spend, you may want to consider the park hopper to provide the flexibility to break up your day at multiple parks.   Plus since the fee is fixed for park hopper for the extent of you pass, the average per day cost for this feature will become less.
