Taking a trip in October the 19th to the 23rd and heard there is a PGA golf tournament going on. Is this a real busy time to be visiting?

    Hi Laurie:

The Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic will likely bring a number of golfers, family and friends to Walt Disney World.  However, you probably won't notice greater crowds during the golf tournament since the golfers will be engaged in competition during those days.  October is a great time to visit Walt Disney World both crowd-wise and weather-wise.  Disney World tends to get more crowded when schools are not in session, and most schools are in session in October.  Of course, the popular Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be held throughout October, so you may find more people than usual strolling along World Showcase in Epcot.

    Enjoy your vacation.
