Taking a trip in July to stay at Animal Kingdom. My son will turn 14 while there, and wondered if there was anything special that a couple of teenage boys would love to do to celebrate? Also wondered how we get groceries delivered to Jamba House?

Hi there Laurel! Happy almost 14th birthday to your son!

My now 20 year old son has enjoyed many magical teenage moments while on vacation at Walt Disney World so, I'll share some of the highlights of our family's trips to help you with your planning.

    I would recommend:
    1. Renting a pontoon boat and exploring one of the many Disney waterways while listening to your son's favorite music on the built in stereo.
    2. Visiting one of the onsite arcades and battling for the highest score on a wide variety of contemporary and classic video games.
    3. Renting a surrey bike and laughing your way around Disney's Boardwalk, especially at night.
    4. Playing Miniature Golf together while competing for that elusive hole in one.
    5. Spending quality time together while trying to catch "the big one" on a guided Fishing Excursion.

Ordering groceries for delivery at your onsite Disney resort hotel really is a snap! I've used Garden Grocery on several vacations and had a very positive experience. Check out all of the details at gardengrocer.com. You may wish to include a birthday cake in your order!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your July trip!
