We're taking a trip this fall but want to reserve soon. If we're hoping for a free dining promo to come out later, is it better to make our res with or without the dining plan now? What way is easier to apply any new promo that's released after the fact?

    Hi Pete!

Yes, I would encourage you to book your fall 2014 Walt Disney World vacation right away to secure your spot at whatever Walt Disney World Resort that you want.  If a special offer comes out between the time that you booked and the time of your vacation, then you can take advantage of it. If you find out about a special deal like free dining, then you can contact Disney and they will rebook your vacation to take advantage of the new special offer (you have to contact them and ask for the special offer in order to get it). You will not lose any of the money that you have already paid toward your Walt Disney World vacation because it will be transferred to the new booking. You also can find a Disney certified travel agent to book your trip and they are always on the lookout for deals for you. Even if you have booked your trip with them already, they can rebook your vacation to apply a better deal if one comes along before your vacation! I have done this with my Disney certified travel agent multiple times and I have saved a lot of money on my Walt Disney World vacations!

I hope that your next vacation to Walt Disney World is magical and that you get an awesome deal on a vacation package!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
