We are taking a trip to Disney World in September and we will be traveling with a 2 year old and a 2 month old. Can we take the 2 month old on rides in the water parks without height requirements or will they still be too small for the rides?

    Hi Lynn,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I took my 2 year old son to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park last October and he had a BLAST! And I remember that when he was an itty bitty baby, there was nothing he loved more than splashing in my arms in the wading pools. You’re going to have so much fun this September!

Much like the attractions in the Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks, the attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort’s Water Parks are open to all Guests if they’re listed as “any height” attractions. That being said, I recommend checking out Ketchakiddee Creek at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Tike’s Peak at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park for some water fun designed with preschoolers and little kids in mind. I remember that my guy used to wiggle a lot in when he was in water, and I would have worried about keeping a tight enough hold on him if I was floating in an inner tube or if there a strong current in the water around us.

Happy planning and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
