    We are taking a trip to Disney world in April. We have made some dining reservations. We did not get reservations at a restaurant we wanted because it is booked. Does that mean that we will not be able to eat there? Or will there just be a wait time?

    Hi Diane:

    In many cases, it's possible to walk up to a Disney Restaurant for a reservation that evening.  It will depend on specific crowd levels and any cancellations.  You may be asked to wait for a while, so be prepared.  In a handful of cases, I've seen the front desk at a restaurant tell Guests that they will absolutely not have room that evening and they are not accepting walk ups.  So also be prepared to dine elsewhere if you take the chance on a walk up. 

    Your best bet for a walk up would be to head to the restaurant early to get your name down. I would also call Disney Dining every day to check on last-minute cancellations.
