Hello we will be taking a trip to Disney in November, and I want to know if there is a payment plan option to help pay for tickets? I would also like to know if there are group discounts? we will be in a party of 12+.

Hey there, Andrea! Thanks for swinging by with your question, we're so glad you're here and we're ready to help. Visiting the Disneyland Resort is so much fun with a large group - the more the merrier, I say.

If you're looking for an option to make payments, I would consider purchasing your hotel and theme park tickets together in a Disneyland Vacation Package. You have the option of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or nearby at a Good Neighbor Hotel. There are benefits to both depending on what best meets your vacation budget and needs. One of my favorite benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is the Early Entry benefit. I love getting a head start on my day at the parks and crossing some popular attractions off my list at the top of the day.

When purchasing a Disneyland Vacation Package, you will be required to pay a modest deposit at the time of purchase and then the balance will be due 30 days prior to your arrival. You also have the option to make payments as you please along the way leading up to the 30-day mark when the final balance is due. Your theme park tickets will arrive via email four days before your arrival date, but no need to worry. You will be able to link your vacation package to your Disney account well before this to make your theme park reservations (which are also required for park entry). Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days prior to your park visit and I strongly recommend making them as soon as you possibly can.

While there aren't any general family discounts for large groups, there are offerings for educational groups and large and small business meetings. You can also check out the Offers & Discounts page to see if anything applies or would work for you.

Andrea, I hope this information gives you some good ideas as you get ready to plan your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. I also recommend downloading the Disneyland app (if you haven't already) for your visit. It's a great tool around the parks with maps, attractions wait times and the ability to mobile order food. I always find it helpful when I'm at the parks.

As you continue down your planning path and have more questions, please come back to ask us. Until then, happy planning!
