Hi we are taking my step son (4 yrs) to WDW for the 1st time but we will only be staying for 1 night. We are however getting park tickets for 2 days. Is it possible to get the dining plan for both days even though we are staying at a resort for 1 night?

Hi Veronica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love helping first time Walt Disney World Resort guests plan their vacations! Since you are only staying at a resort for one night, you will only be eligible to have the dining plan for one day.  However, your dining credits are still good for use on the day that you check out, so if you have any credits left you can use them this day.

If you are hoping to stay on a budget (like I always am) there are some ways that you can save some money. The day that you are on the dining plan, try a sit down restaurant like Chef Mickey’s for dinner. This way you will have the character dining experience and you will be able to use a dining credit. On the second day don’t plan to have a table service meal, just eat at quick service locations throughout the day such as your resort hotel food court for breakfast, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café at Magic Kingdom Park, or at the Sunshine Seasons food court at Epcot.

I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Please feel free to stop back anytime and ask more questions! Helping first time visitors makes me so happy! Have a magical vacation!
