We will be taking my soon to be 3 yo daughter on her FIRST Disney World vacation in February for her 3rd birthday. What fun character experiences can she enjoy, and is there anything else Disney does to make her first trip special?

    Hi, Michel!
I'm so excited you have the opportunity to celebrate your daughter's third birthday at Walt Disney World Resort.

I'm so lucky to have given my daughter the chance to turn three at Disney World a number of years ago. It was so special, we still share the photos and tell the stories of that day. First, we made a point of getting my daughter a special birthday button when we arrived in the park. (We decided to visit Magic Kingdom Park for her special day.) We snagged some FastPass+ reservations early in the day for rides she really liked. After an early lunch at a Quick Service restaurant, we visited the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique inside Cinderella Castle where my daughter was surprised with a very special birthday girl princess dress and new princess hair and makeup. Her transition into a princess was dramatic and darling. Walking through the park for the rest of the day, she had so many Guests and Cast Members stopping to talk to her about her birthday.

Along with a princess look, we took her to 1900 Park Fare to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming and other characters from the story. My birthday girl kicked off her fancy shoes and ASKED Prince Charming to put her shoe back on. He was smitten and we were all shocked by the sweetness of the prince.

Our personal pictures and our Memory Maker photos helped make the day special and full of wonderful memories. I know you'll have a magical day as well!
