I will be taking my sons old school backpack to carry a few snacks and some water, can I wear in on the rides? I don't really want to put it in a rental locker and have to go back and forth to it as I will have 2 younger kids with me.

    Hi Kysha,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

I always carry a traditional backpack with me when I head into a Walt Disney World theme park. I do carry snacks and bottled water with me in my backpack. I like to be sure that there is always a snack at hand when someone in my family gets hungry, and that we are easily and quickly able to stay hydrated. Do be sure to check the list of restricted personal items to be sure that you avoid carrying any of these in your backpack.

I have good news for you. You will be able to carry your backpack with you and onto attractions. I often find that it is easiest for me to stash my backpack between my feet on the ground of the ride vehicle when I am riding an attraction. There is not a need to rent a locker for your backpack.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kysha! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
