I am taking my 3 sons to Disney World on May 15th and we are staying at Pop Century. I keep hearing about the pool noise and I'm wondering how loud is it? I can tolerate some muffled noise. We are hard sleepers, but it is obnoxiously loud and intrusive?

    Hi Beth!

I will have my three sons at Pop Century in June!  My in laws are joining us as well and we will have three Preferred rooms - hopefully pool side!  Yes, it can be loud, but not obnoxiously so.  We aways bring a small fan and use it to muffle any noise.  Also, because all of the rooms exit towards the outdoors and not to an interior corridor, the rooms are very well insulated.  This has the added bonus of keeping noise out as well as the weather!

Since you will be there before most kids are out of school for the summer, your noise level should be better.  I would request a room on the on the second floor or above - this way, you won't have people running past your room.  Have a great vacation!
