    Hi! I am taking my son to WDW Magic Kingdom for his 11th birthday on December 9th. This is both our first time to DisneyWorld and I would love for him to be able to meet Mickey. How can I make that happen?#Disneycharacter #Characterexperience

    Hello Jennifer! I love that you want your son to meet the “main mouse!” I bet Mickey will be excited to meet your son too!

    I am happy to share that Mickey Mouse greets Guests at Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park! Mickey is currently “rocking” his "The World’s Most Magical Celebration" outfit! Mickey will be smiling and waving to his friends from behind a rope to allow for physical distancing. Mickey will also pose for photos during your son’s birthday visit! I see that Mickey will be available from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on December 9, 2021! While I had trouble finding that information on the website, I was able to find it quickly on the My Disney Experience app! Just enter "Town Square Theater" into the search area. Please note that times and character greetings are always subject to change.

    Jennifer, you might also consider trying to book a character dining experience at either Chef Mickey’s for breakfast or dinner or Topolino’s Terrace for breakfast! Mickey and his best pals host dining experiences at both of those restaurants! Have your camera ready because they will pose long enough for you to get some great photos! Also, don’t forget to ask for your autograph card following your meal! Also, you might want to mention it’s your son’s birthday celebration! The Cast Member serving your table will be sure to make the meal extra special!

    Jennifer, to add a little extra magic to your son’s birthday, you can request a complimentary birthday button upon your arrival at any of the Disney Parks! These are available at Guest Relations!
