I am taking my 4yo son to WDW in December. We are staying at CBR in a standard view pirate room. Is there a particular building you would suggest requesting?

    Hi there, Amy!

The Pirate Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are located in the Trinidad South Area of the resort, and feature beds that look like pirate ships, dressers themed as old crates, old Spanish Caribbean lanterns, and a "navigation" table.

Be advised that this section is actually the farthest away - geographically - from Old Port Royale, the main building featuring dining, shopping, etc.

With that distance in mind, no building is really appreciably different than the next. The question becomes whether you want the standard view or the water view, which will add a small surcharge onto your reservation.

You might request the closest building to Old Port Royale, but do be prepared to have a bit of a distance.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
