    Hello! We are taking our son on a vacation to DW later this month. We have tickets for the MNSSHP on 9/23. Are certain rides closed during this special event? Is there a list somewhere so I can plan to ride those rides prior to the special event hours?

    Welcome to the Moms Panel Aimee!  We're so glad you're hEAR!

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom! Most of the popular rides are open. Here are the rides that were open during the 2010 dates:

    * Swiss Family Treehouse
    * Pirates of the Caribbean
    * Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    * Splash Mountain
    * Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    * Haunted Mansion
    * Hall of Presidents
    * Peter Pan
    * Carrousel
    * Dumbo
    * Mickey's PhilharMagic
    * Snow White's Scary Adventures
    * Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    * Tomorrowland Speedway
    * Astro Orbiter
    * Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
    * PeopleMover
    * Space Mountain
    * Stitch's Great Escape
    * Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

    In the past, I've seen the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event. The first event night for this year is September 13, 2011 and I would expect to see the Guide Maps pop up online that day.

    Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison
