    We are taking my son for a surprise for his 5th birthday and was wondering about the water park Blizzard beach mostly, he has a swim vest will he need it for the pool and will they allow it in the park?

    Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

    I am so thrilled that your son will be celebrating his 5th birthday here at Walt Disney World!  Is there anything better?  I think not, so let's get started.

    You are more than welcome to bring your own swim vest as long as it has not metal buckles or any metal for that matter.  Please keep in mind that you will find that all the water parks provide life jackets free of charge for all ages.
