Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! The Walt Disney World Resort is an amazing place for Guests of all ages. As a parent, I love experiencing the magic through the eyes of my little ones. Christmastime is one of, if not the best, time of year to visit with kids. All the festive lights and Christmas trees will have your son captivated. I've taken my son to Walt Disney World at a similar age and so I've had to figure out what rides he can and can't go on. It's not just about the height requirement, but you have to consider whether the ride will be too scary or intense. For example, my kids can both technically ride Haunted Mansion, but there's no way I'd let them ride it yet. I've put together a personal list. Let me share that list with you:Magic Kingdom Park- "it's a small world."- "Prince Charming Regal Carrousel- Dumbo the Flying Elephant- Jungle Cruise- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh- Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid- Mad Tea Party- Peter Pan's Flight- Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin- Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room (not a ride, but an attraction that shouldn't be missed!)- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMoverEPCOT- Spaceship Earth- The Seas with Nemo & Friends - Living with the Land - Journey Into Imagination With Figment- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros- Frozen Ever After- Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (no height requirement, but it's a little intense)Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park- Kilimanjaro Safaris- Na’vi River Journey- Festival of the Lion King (not a ride, but a great show!)- Feathered Friends in Flight! (not a ride, but a great show!)- Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! (You guessed it: not a ride, but a great show!)Disney's Hollywood Studios- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway (no height requirement, but it's a little intense)- Toy Story Mania! (no height requirement, but quite loud and it could be a bit intense)- Alien Swirling Saucers- Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy (not a ride, but fun for kids)I hope that's helpful, Jennifer! There's so much for your son to enjoy at the theme parks (and I haven't even mentioned the character meet and greets and the Festival of Fantasy Parade!). I'm sure you'll have a truly wonderful time. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.TTFN,Mike
