We are taking my son to Magic Kingdom on this actual 14th birthday. Any advice or ideas to make his birthday extra special? He thinks he's so grown up and want to put a little magic back in his life but still age-appropriate. Thanks!!

    Hi Karen!

Birthdays are such important celebrations, and I am so excited that you are celebrating your son's 14th birthday at the Magic Kingdom.  I would recommend going to City Hall and getting a "Happy Birthday" button for your son.  He will be wished happy birthday by every Cast Member as well as guest who notice. I would make reservations at a special restaurant and be sure to tell the server that it is his birthday for an extra special meal.  I think Tony's Town Square Restaurant or Liberty Tree Tavern for a meal.  They both have fantastic food and the atmosphere is fun and more adult.

One way you could make his day extra magical is by getting him a birthday present at Disney Floral and Gifts.  They do a fantastic job with making any event special especially birthdays.  The gifts are amazing and displayed usually over a bed with boxes and bows topped off with a little Disney Magic.

I would also ask him what he would consider his best day at the Magic Kingdom and follow his schedule. Of course sprinkling him with a bit of Pixie Dust along the way would be amazing as well.

I hope your son has  the happiest of birthdays!
