hello i am taking my son on the 01st of Jan 2023 to visit disney's art of animation we are just spending the day would we be able to use the pools and resturants even though we are not spending the night?

    Hi Shoba,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation will be here so soon!

I understand you’ll be around the Walt Disney World Resort and want to see Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Unfortunately, the pools are reserved for Resort guests, so you’d need to book a room in order to enjoy those amenities.

Now, when it comes to the Landscape of Flavors, in the past I have seen guests from other resorts have lunch or dinner there after exploring the property. So that can be an option for you, you’ll just need to get there.

The best way to get to the Resort would be by journeying on the Disney Skyliner! This way you have a fun way to travel to the property, you’ll be dropped off close to the heart of the Resort, and be able to walk around a bit before grabbing food. I will note that the Skyliner will be closed January 22nd – 29th, so if your dates change any, keep that in mind.

The easiest way to get to the Skyliner is by getting on at the station outside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If your hotel provides bus service to this Park, just ride over and hop on the Skyliner and follow the directions of the Cast Members (you’ll let them know you’re going to Art of Animation). If your resort doesn’t have service to Hollywood Studios, you can take a Lyft and be dropped off close to the station or pay for your vehicle’s parking and self-park.

Final Tip: if you’re looking for another stop on the Disney Skyliner, you could hop off at the EPCOT stop and take a walk on the Disney BoardWalk! The BoardWalk is one of my favorite places to take a relaxing walk on property. There’s a bakery, pizza window, and a lot to explore. If you have time, this would be a fun place to stop before heading back on the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to celebrate your son’s birthday. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
