Taking my 13yo son to HS for star wars fun! He has his own phone, how can he also use the app for a chance to get on rise of the resistance? Should he log in with my account or does he need his own? I manage our mydisneyexperience. THANK YOU!

    Bright Suns, Amanda!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your stellar question our way!

It sounds like you’re getting “Resistance Ready” and I’m here to help! When trying to join a Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you can use multiple mobile devices so that each Guest in your party can try to secure your position in the virtual queue at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Check out the Disney Parks Blog for the steps you'll want to take to join the virtual queue! Guests may only be included in one Boarding Group each day. So if one person in your party successfully joins a Boarding Group on their device, the other devices with the same tickets linked will no longer be eligible for a Boarding Group.

And, your son does not have to use your My Disney Experience Account unless you want him to. Any Guest age 13 and older may create an account. If he does decide to create an account, be sure to invite him to connect with you in Family & Friends using his Disney account email. This will allow the plans you’ve already made to migrate to his account.

Lastly, if you have not already, be sure to make advanced Disney Park Pass reservations for the day you wish to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios

    Enjoy your time in Batuu!

Greetings from San Diego, CA! I'm a wife, cat mom and Disney-loving "childfree millennial." I've traveled all around the world, but my favorite place to visit is "The Happiest Place on Earth!" I've been going to the Disneyland Resort for over 25 years. Each time I step through the turnstiles to enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy, I feel the magic of Walt Disney's original park. I can't wait to answer your questions and help you experience all that the Disneyland Resort has to offer! Learn More About Tiffanie
