Hey Jennifer-
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. What a perfect time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. With fall holiday decorations and delights aplenty your son will have a blast at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Villains, costumes, and trick-o-treating through Magic Kingdom Park are perfect for kids of every age. I love Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular. It is sorcery in the sky!
My co-panelist, Andrea U., made a
great point. The list of characters this year has not been published. However, Jack Skellington and Sally have been a staple for the past couple of years. They typically take a break from Halloween Town to visit the living at Magic Kingdom Park only during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If they are very important then I would have a member of your party stand in line between 5:00-5:30 p.m. to see them at 7:00 p.m. Last year they hung around City Hall in Town Square. www.kennythepirate.com has a fantastic summary of the events and some spectacular tips for fun.
Attending two parties is your preference. You will be able to visit more Disney characters and visit the candy trails more if you go again. We tend to focus on seeing characters specifically the ones that are not regular park participants like The Seven Dwarfs.
Disney Dad Tip: If possible have you little ghoul nap during the day. The party ends a midnight and there is lots to see and do. This year we will have a resort/relaxation day to have the energy to party with creepy creeps of every size.
Jennifer, enjoy making many Spooktacularly Magical Memories!
