    I am taking my son for his 5th in February. We are celebrating my sons 3rd birthday!! Since we've been he's very familiar with Disney. What do you recommend for a special birthday surprise for a 3 year old? Anything goes, he only turns 3 once!

    A birthday celebration in Walt Disney World is simply awesome.  Make sure you make a note on your reservation that you are celebrating a birthday.  Last week when I was in Walt Disney World for my own birthday, I had a special celebration birthday phone message waiting for me when we arrived in our resort room. It was so much fun to have Mickey wishing me a happy day!  The wonderful Cast Members at check-in also had a personalized birthday button waiting for me which I wore proudly my entire vacation.

    For a super-duper over the top surprise, visit www.DisneyFlorist.com.  Take a look at their In Room Birthday Celebration.  The Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish is my very favorite package.  I was treated to this package a few years ago.  What an amazing surprise to walk into your resort room filled with glorious gift boxes full of birthday magic!  I really liked that there was so much to take home.  For each family birthday, I hang up the fun Mickey Happy Birthday banner in my house to make at-home birthdays magical!

    To add to the special day, make sure you book a favorite character meal which is always a blast.  In lieu of an autograph book, bring two things:  An oversized birthday card and a photo mat for an 8X10 picture. Have the characters sign these.  The card will be a great keepsake and then you can have a favorite birthday snapshot enlarged to an 8X10 to use with the signed mat.
