Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Catherine!
Thank you for sending us your question. Your May trip is quickly approaching and you and your son must be so excited! I hope that you continue to send us your Disney vacation planning questions before, during and after your Walt Disney World Resort visit.
You may absolutely wear your custom-made shirts and ears. I highly encourage you to do so! You will see many families in custom shirts, ears and even shoes. My family particularly loves to wear custom-made ears.
For future reference, as long as they comply with the guidelines I will post for you below, you can wear any custom-made pieces you like. They do not need to be licensed or come from a licensed shop. Many families make their own, non-licensed pieces and wear them proudly at Walt Disney World Resort.
Here are a couple of guidelines to keep in mind:
- Guests age 14 or older may not wear costumes to the theme parks.
- Clothing that could be considered inappropriate, profane or that could detract from the experience of other Guests may not be allowed.
