Taking skyliner from RivieraResort to HollywoodStudios. I understand you need to transfer at CaribbeanBeachResort. At the CaribbeanBeachResort will I have to get off and wait in the line there or as a transfer passenger am i given priority boarding?

    Hi Brad!

Thanks for your question. The new Disney Skyliner is my new favorite mode of transportation on Disney property! As the Skyliner is almost in constant motion, it is in my opinion one of the more efficient modes of travel, and certainly will get you to your destination quicker than, say, Disney bus transportation.

So you're correct in that the Disney Skyliner transfer station at Disney's Carribean Beach Resort almost serves as the Skyliner "hub" to getting you to your final destination. So in your case, you would take the Disney Riviera Resort Skyliner to the Caribbean Beach Resort, then transfer (exit the current gondola you were sitting in) then enter a separate gondola, which takes you directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

It was my experience when me and a few fellow panelists tested it last month, the Cast Member immediately directed us to the next gondola when we got to the Caribbean Beach transfer spot (we were heading from Hollywood Studios to Epcot). We did not have to get back in line, and was immediately directed to the next gondola, which we shared with a nice couple. Perhaps we lucked out, but we didn't have to wait in line and was able to immediately board the next gondola and be on our way to our destination! In this sense, it did feel like priority seating..

Hope this provides some insight. Enjoy your stay at the new Riviera Resort and your time at Disney!
