    We will be taking a short notice trip to WDW in February to escape the dreary midwest weather. What is the quickest way to get from DHS to the Boardwalk? I have heard that you can walk but was unsure if there was a safe path and how long it would take...

    Hi Theresa:

    The quickest way to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk is by boat. You can also walk along a paved pathway along the water. While picturesque, safe and relaxing, it's a long walk, about a mile, and not shaded along many stretches. The walk would probably take about 20 minutes, depending on your pace. If you are going for speed, and aren't bringing your rollerblades, then boat should get you to Disney's Hollywood Studios from the Boardwalk quicker than walking.
