Taking the September 4 nte Bahamian cruise. I'm Looking for an excursion that includes interaction w dolphins and a tour of the aquarium at Atlantis. I am a single mom of two 4/8 and want to make sure we all enjoy it while I keep a safe eye on both. Ideas?

    Hi Julia,

It appears that Disney Cruise Line has a shore excursion in Nassau designed perfectly to match your wishes.  It is called the Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction & Discover Atlantis.  This dolphin interaction is designed with younger children in mind.  Your children will not leave your sight as all three of you get cozy with your new aquatic pals.  You'll only be in waist-deep water so you needn't worry about your kids' swimming skills either.

After the dolphin encounter, you'll be able to explore the beautiful aquarium and resort grounds at Atlantis.  My family had the opportunity to experience this gorgeous resort during a shore excursion last March.  It is truly breath-taking!  I highly recommend it.

If you decide to take part in this port adventure, go online immediately to book it.  This is an immensely popular experience that will fill up quickly.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that you and your children will get the chance to meet the dolphins at Atlantis.

    Best wishes!

    Jill

PS.  If you're looking for another great animal interaction, check out the stingray adventure at Castaway Ray's.  Feeding the stingrays at Castaway Cay is one of my son's favorites memories from the entire trip!
