Ahoy Beverly –
What a fun trip you all have planned on the Fantasy in May! We just love hearing about
Disney Cruise Line vacations, and your tweens will have a fun voyage sailing together. I have a tween too, and one of the best things about this age is their sense of adventure and willingness to try new things. Whether you stay on the ship and enjoy the fun deck parties, the first run Hollywood movies in the Buena Vista Theatre, or the fun family shows, your crew will find something for everyone onboard. As far as recommendations for Port Adventures, in
Cozumel, my pirate princess enjoyed the
Cozumel Beach Break. There she splashed in the beautiful water, built sandcastles like a pro, and had fun activities with other children (piñatas, salsa dancing and scavenger hunts). There were also water sports available for the more active cruisers and other relaxing events too – I sipped a cocktail on the beach and lounged all day. Cozumel also has many other fun activities like snorkeling, dolphin encounters, and the Xcaret archeological tour. In
Grand Cayman, my tiger cub enjoyed the
Turtle Farm and
Tiki Beach (Seven Mile Beach). She still quotes the driver of our tour this day with her best Cayman accent even though we are now home. Beverly, I hope this helps with your planning, and thanks for visiting with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
