Hi Courtney!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. From one Colorado girl to another, I am so happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I have flown overnight to take the red-eye from Denver International Airport to Orlando International Airport many times to start a trip to visit Mickey. With the duration of the flight and time changes, it really is a great way to make the most of your vacation time.
Generally, I recommend that Guests schedule three hours transportation time when riding
Disney's Magical Express to allow time to get off the plane, get through the airport, board your bus, wait for your bus to depart, travel to Walt Disney World Resort and make stops at other hotels before arriving at your vacation "home". However, in my experience I have found that transportation on Disney's Magical Express is significantly faster when riding it first thing in the morning after a red-eye since crowds at that time are much lower. So I would plan for your trip will take approximately 90 minutes from the time your airplane is scheduled to land until you are at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.
If you are interested in an early check-in to your room, I recommend that you complete
Online Check-In prior to your trip and indicate that you would prefer an early check-in time over other preferences. Also, ask the Front Desk Cast Members if they have anything available for you when you arrive. I have often found that my room is not yet available, in which case simply check your bags at Bell Services and start your vacation in a theme park or with a nice Character Dining breakfast.
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
