We're taking my one year old son to MK for the day next weekend. What are a few "must go to" places while we're there? Thanks!!

    Hi, Dessirae!

Aw, how cute to be taking your little guy to the Magic Kingdom!  What great memories you are going to create!  Make sure to bring a stroller with a sun shade, hat, sunscreen, snacks, camera, and extra change of clothes.

Now don't laugh, but your first "must go to" place is the Baby Care Center located on Main Street, next to the First Aid Station.  You are going to love this place:  clean changing tables, restrooms, high chairs, even a kitchen and a room with rocking chairs.   When my kids were little, I spent a LOT of time here!

Of course, your son is not going to remember this trip, so take lots of pictures.  Make sure to do some Meet and Greets.  A photo with Mickey Mouse will be a priceless addition to your scrapbook.   If your time allows and you can get a reservation, try dining with Pooh and Friends at Crystal Palace.  There is a wonderful buffet and super photo-ops with all of Pooh's pals.

Some attractions that you can all enjoy together as a family include it's a small world, Peter Pan, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and Prince Charming's Regal Carousel.  I used to bring a small flashlight or light-up toy so my kids could turn it on if the ride got a bit dark or scary.  Or, a cell phone always does that trick as well (as long as nobody drops it!)

Enjoy your magical day with your handsome little prince.  Hope you have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
