We are taking our one and a half year old to Disney this summer. I was wanting to get a few pictures of her getting messy eating a mickey ice cream bar with a balloon. Do they sell these at downtown disney? I don't want to waste park time. Thank you

Hi there, Nichole! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Taking your little one to the Disneyland Resort is going to be such a fun experience!

I love your idea to get some pictures of your daughter with a balloon and a Mickey's Ice Cream Bar - so cute!! I don't recall seeing any balloons for sale in the Downtown Disney District, so you will want to purchase one while you are in the parks. For ice cream outside of the parks, these are usually sold in the gift shops or quick service dining locations in the three Disneyland Resort Hotels.

My suggestion for some adorable pictures would be to pick up an ice cream bar at Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel and then walk over to the Rose Court Garden (in between Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar and Frontier Tower). If there aren't any events going on, you will be able to take some precious photos on the grassy area there or in the beautiful gazebo. The area is also a bit secluded so you shouldn't have to worry about too many people wandering into the shot.

Another great photo spot is the flower fountain right outside La Brea Bakery Cafe in the Downtown Disney District. It's a fun and colorful fountain which might make a cute backdrop for some pictures.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
