Welcome aboard, Madeline!
How exciting to hear that you'll be sailing with Captain Mickey to the Caribbean on a
Very Merrytime Cruise this November. There's nothing like being pampered and spoiled aboard the Disney Magic... it beats slaving away in the kitchen during the holidays.
Though schedules may change from time to time, the usual Formal night on a 7-night voyage is on the 2nd evening. You'll still want to check the Personal Navigator daily of course. You'll get this delivered by your stateroom host/hostess each night, and you can plan your family's activities for the following day. Plan on glamming it up for Formal night - the professional photographers will be setting up the signature Disney Cruise Line backgrounds that evening in the lobby on Deck 3 Midship. This might be the perfect evening to take your family holiday photos... it's a great souvenir for your trip, and you could possibly use the wonderful photos for holiday cards too. Pirate night is usually on the 4th night, and Semi-Formal night follows on the 5th evening. You can now line up your outfits accordingly - I'm sure you and your whole crew are very excited and you'll end up with awesome photos to share!
If you chance upon
Santa somewhere on the ship in November, please note that he's just gearing up for his busy season and taking a quick break! There's definitely something for everyone on the Disney Cruise, Madeline!
Have a spectacular voyage!
