We are going to be taking a 4 night cruise in November of 2012. We are flying in the day before. Do you recommend staying at the airport hotel or staying at a disney resort hotel?

    Hi Genny!

You can stay at a hotel near the airport or at Walt Disney World or at a hotel near Port Canaveral.  I think the deciding factors are when you will be arriving, your budget, and how you plan to get to the cruise terminal.  If you want to use Disney transportation then you need to stay near the airport or at Walt Disney World.  My family and I have stayed in the Hyatt in the middle of Orlando International Airport and we have always loved it.

We have also stayed near the cruise terminal, and used a rental car to drive ourselves to Port Canaveral; there are several places to return a car and almost all have shuttle buses to take you to the cruise ship.

Staying at Walt Disney World is a good option if you will arrive early enough to enjoy a day in the parks!  That's always a wonderful way to start any Disney vacation!

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
