Hi there, Sonya!
I am so excited to hEAR you are going to be onboard the beautiful
Disney Wonder for a Southern Caribbean sailing! What an incredible itinerary you have planned; my family sailed on this earlier this year and it was fantastic! A perfect way to beat the winter back home!
The
Oceaneer Club or Lab will always open on port days at a similar time to the “All Ashore” time so you will have a place to leave any children onboard if you choose to do an excursion without them. The hours will not be posted or available until you are onboard, but if you choose an excursion that they will not be attending with you, you can be guaranteed that at least one of the onboard Youth Clubs will be open for them to be securely checked into before you disembark the ship.
Children can be left onboard the ship while parents disembark and it is not necessary for another adult to be present onboard, but notify the Counselors at the Youth Club that you will be leaving the ship, and make sure your children know that you will be gone for a bit. If there is another adult traveling with you and you do want them to have access to pick up or drop off your child, be sure they are listed as such when you complete the youth club registration and share your secret word with them as well!
The Youth Clubs onboard are so much fun and I find myself having to bribe my boys (usually the chocolate chip cookies from Daisy’s Delights works great!) to leave the club…but only with the promise that they can return later! With scheduled activities, games, and movies in the clubs as well as free play time, there is so much for them to do while in there!
Happy Sailing!
