Hi Kirsi -
Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel. Get ready for a most magical voyage on your upcoming trip on the Disney Magic to the Mediterranean. My family and I were on the Med cruise a couple of years, ago and it was an absolutely enriching experience. I think cruising is still the best way of visiting Europe and its' culture-rich destinations. It is wonderful to be visiting a different port and historical city each day - and then come back home, to a comfortable stateroom and high quality dining and entertainment. The Disney quality really shines in Europe and it was amazing to experience and learn about these world class destinations, the Disney way! The family
Port Adventures were so worth while - since the adventures were kid friendly.
Dining on the Disney Cruise is a well organized gastronomic event. You and your family will get a chance to rotate through all the main restaurants each night. On a 12-night cruise, you'll get a chance to visit all the restaurants multiple times. You will also have an assigned Dining Team, who will follow you on your dining rotations nightly. You'll get a chance to sample mouth-watering entrees that are beautifully prepared and tastes delectable. If you have an exotic palate, you will be in for a treat! I highly recommend doing a Dinner or Brunch at
Palo during your cruise. It is an Adult Exclusive dining experience that costs a little extra ($25 per adult), but it is such an awesome feast for your tastebuds... and similar to your usual dining team, the service is impeccable!
Dress Up nights are optional, and most evenings are cruise casual... which helps, since it can be very hot during the summer. There are laundry facilities onboard just in case you need it.
Hope this helps!
