I am taking my niece to disney for her 5th birthday in Sept. She actually wanted to stay in the princess Castle. Obviously, we cannot stay there. What is the best resort with a view of the magic kingdom, specially Cinderella Castle?

I dream of staying in Cinderella's Castle too!

For your niece's 5th birthday, I would recommend the Grand Floridian resort. She'll be able to view the castle from that resort.

While eating breakfast outside in front of the marina, your family can stare at the castle.
Watch the fireworks from the boat dock for a great view of the castle.
Consider a theme park view room for around the clock castle viewing from your window.

If the GF, WDW's flagship hotel, isn't in your budget, there's many ways to be a princess at WDW.

Dine in the castle! Meet princesses in the theme parks. Go to 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian for a Cinderella themed dinner. Visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to pamper your niece. Try afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian's Garden View Lounge.

Other resorts with views of the Magic Kingdom include the Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower and the Polynesian.

The resort closest to the Magic Kingdom and thus the castle is the Contemporary Resort/ Bay Lake Tower!
