We're taking our 7 y/o next week to WDW for 5 days/4 nights. She's approx 48" and about 54 lbs. We're thinking about buying a cheap stroller and taking it with us. We hear renting strollers @ the parks can be expensive. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thank

    Hi Hector,

A single stroller rental at Walt Disney World currently costs $15 per day.  You could also get a "length of stay" rental for your entire trip, and the cost per day would decrease to $13 per day.  Disney strollers are made of hard plastic and have a canopy and some limited storage in pockets on the back of the canopy.  They can generally accommodate larger/older children, and are very easy to push and maneuver throughout the parks.   For more information on stroller rental at Walt Disney World, please click HERE.  If you prefer, you could certainly bring along your own, light inexpensive stroller.  The benefits of bringing your own include the fact that you'll have the stroller outside the parks (at the resorts, airport, etc.) if you think your daughter would need it, and the fact that you can probably find either a second-hand model or inexpensive umbrella for less than you would spend on the rental.

Whichever you decide, have a magical trip!
