I am taking my nephew to WDW this coming February. He's three, and although he knows, and loves, Mickey and the gang, he doesn't know what WDW is. What's the best way I can tell him we're going to WDW and how to explain to him what it is?

    Hi there, Juli!

It sounds to me like your nephew is in for a real treat! I really love how preschoolers are able to interpret things that are so exciting! One of the best things you can do ahead of time is to show him what Walt Disney World is all about. I've got a great suggestion for you that will help with that.

If you haven't already, order your Free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD. When it arrives in your mailbox, sit down with your nephew and watch! You can talk with him about what he's seeing and ask him to point at which Attractions are his favorites! You can tell him that that's Walt Disney World and you're going to be right where all the people are that he sees in the DVD! I can only imagine his excitement as you're watching! When my kids were that age, we would practically wear out our DVD from watching it so much! It's really a lot of fun for the whole family!

I hope this helps with your fun surprise, Juli! Please feel free to let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
