Hi Angel,
Welcome to the Moms Panel! How exciting that you are taking a vacation with your new little one! I have always believed that no age is to young for a first visit to Walt Disney World!
Now since this trip will only be remembered by him through photographs, take a lot of them! Take full advantage of the
Disney PhotoPass photographers, it's free to use and no purchase is required (although the pictures are wonderful keepsakes and hard to resist).
In my experience, the trips with the infants were actually by far the easiest. They can't read park maps, they aren't demanding to wait in line for autographs, they typically are just happy to be surrounded by the beautiful decor, lights and sounds of the Walt Disney World theme parks.
So my advice for making the trip special is to allow yourself to take in the magic. This is your opportunity to do and see things that may not be on the agenda once you've got a toddler or pre-schooler calling the shots. Enjoy this time as a family, without the distractions of everyday life, laundry, dishes etc. They are only little for so long, so enjoy every moment.
My practical advice is to seek out the
Baby Care Centers in each of the theme parks. They are a wonderful resource for parents with little ones. There is ample space for diapering, feeding or relaxing for a few quiet moments in a rocker.
Have a wonderful vacation!
