    I am taking my mom for her first time to Disney World this upcoming Mother's Day weekend. We will be wearing mother/daughter shifts and all! The new 7 Dwarfs ride wont be open but is there a way to ride it or be chosen to? If so, what can I do or request?

    Thank you so much for stopping by!  Sounds like you have a great vacation planned for you and your Mom!  How incredibly wonderful and sweet!

    In the past, attractions have had what is referred to as a 'soft opening,' which essentially means that the attraction might be available to guests prior to the official opening.  These times and days can be very limited, and while I've not heard of that holding true for the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it certainly can't hurt to ask.  I'd ask a Cast Member in the general location of the attraction.  They should be able to let you know if the attraction is available or not.  

    I also wanted to let you know that there are several ways to celebrate Mom while you are visiting, as a special Mother's Day Brunch is available at several locations on property including The Wave... of American Flavors and Chef Mickey's.
