Hello Wendi! What an amazing trip you have planned for your Mom and family! She is sure to love every minute of it and be amazed at how Walt's dream has continued to grow throughout the years. I bet you are so excited! When planning trips to Walt Disney World for people who have special needs or disabilities I recommend reading through the following links prior to visiting:
Since persons with MS can be heat sensitive, plan on keeping as cool as possible. I would suggest keeping cold beverages going, using special cooling towels/headbands (like Frog Toggs, etc..), and take advantage of the air conditioned attractions. When booking dining reservations, you shouldn't have any worries since all restaurants are handicapped accessible and wheelchairs and ECV's enter easily. You may wish to call the Disney Dining Reservations Phone Number so that it can be noted on your reservation that you need a table that accommodates a wheelchair. Wishing you a Magical vacation!
