When taking the Minnie Van to Animal Kingdom, does it drop you off at the entrance or do you still have to take the tram?

Hey there, Erik! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.

There are a lot of ways to get around Walt Disney World. There are buses, the Monorail, water taxis, the Disney Skyliner, and that’s just the complimentary options! Minnie Vans, which can be booked through the Lyft app, are great for when you are traveling between resort hotels or need to get somewhere a bit quicker than the other options allow.

I’m happy to report that Minnie Vans drop off guests at a designated spot in the Animal Kingdom’s bus loop area. This is a quick walk from the park’s entrance, so no tram will be needed. You can find all of the Minnie Van pick-up and drop-off locations on the My Disney Experience mobile app by searching “Minnie Van” in the app’s search function (the magnifying glass icon). Choose the Minnie Van page, and then you should see a button that says “Get Directions.” Tapping this button will take you to a list of all the dedicated Minnie Van spots in Walt Disney World.

You’ve picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World and the Animal Kingdom. Cool Kids’ Summer will have started, which means all sorts of new shows and attractions across the whole resort. At Animal Kingdom, there will be a new Bluey experience at the Conservation Station, and then there’s the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether, which opened at the Tree of Life Theater earlier this year. You won’t want to miss any of the fun!

I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Erik. Pop right back if you have any more questions. Your planDisney pals are always happy to help.

    Magical travels!
